Sunrise of Newtown Square

I recently called this senior care center to gather information for a family member, and the initial inquiry experience was excellent. I spoke with Damien in the call center, who provided a thorough explanation of their services and a comprehensive verbal tour of the facility. His professional, patient, and informative approach made a potentially stressful process much easier to navigate. Although we have not visited the center in person yet, Damien's exceptional customer service gave us a very clear understanding of what they offer and left us with a highly positive first impression.

My grandmother has been staying here for at least a year now. She had to move from the first floor to the memory care unit on the third floor since she has dementia and she broke her hip. Initially we found that the care on the third floor was worse than the care received on the first floor. We often found my grandmother’s room to be messy and dirty. Initially some of the staff seemed less attentive. We recently discussed our concerns with the executive director. I think that things have improved since then. I think my grandmother is receiving better care and more attention. Also her room appears to be less messy and dirty. I hope that things continue to improve.

The staff and residents of this facility were unfailingly kind and compassionate to us during a time of great stress and overwhelming sadness. We greatly appreciate their help.
