Sunrise of Abington

I have been in a relentless search for a fantastic, and yet affordable senior living community for my dearest mother who deserves the very best on behalf of what I can give to her. We have come across exquisite senior living communities in whom would be more than happy to take your arm and leg, considering the costs being driven up significantly. I do have to honestly state that in correlation to Sunrise Senior Living in Abington, PA- I experienced a crescendo of positive awe-moments. Although my approach was rather reluctant- what I was given was fortune: spectacular care and determination to help, help, and further help my mother and myself. The Director of Sales- Eric Mcquillan went above and beyond customer service to further foster on his emotional intelligence and humanity by visiting my mother who at the time was residing in a facility for PT after having been hospitalized due to her critical condition. Mcquillan made a coordinated visit with me to provide company and delicious cashews/pistachios for my dearest mom. Additionally, Mcquillan provided both a virtual and in-person tour of Sunrise Senior Living of Abington, PA (where they provided *welcome signage* for my mother and I). Of course, the awe does not stop there- I received a personal phone call from the Executive Director of Sunrise Senior Living asking how the experience was. There may be TEDx talks and books about exceptional customer service, but golly gee- experiencing such... is resounding in its own significance! My warm thanks to Eric Mcquillan, the Executive Director of Sunrise Senior Living, and the staff- we have made a decision, hooray!

If I could give this place zero star's I would. They bleed you financially, most of the staff needs to be trained how to care for memery impaired residents. The facility is in dyre need of equipment, repairs and renovation. They always run out of supplies, even the employees are unhappy there. They make unkept promises! Don't invest in your loved ones life by having them live here!!
