I want to give Melissa a big Thank you, for going above an Beyond of just running a personal care home. When my father was in the hospital, an after 3 days of the hospital sending out referrals. No facility could take him. Melissa went to the hospital to access my father to see if he could return to Scenic view. The next Day he was discharged and went back to Scenic view where he is happy.

Short staffed, that's the reason I was given when my family member needed it to use the restroom and had to wait over 30 minutes. The so called aids are lazy, rude, and on professional. Its clear they dont care. The poor residents sit all day long no music, no activities, No safe place for them to set outside, and one TV that plays the news. For the price they pay the owner should be ashamed of herself.I wouldn't put my dog in this place. There is so much more that I could add but, ill leave at this.

I do not recommend this facility. My grandfather was placed here, and every time my family and I visited, staff members would stare at us and whisper. It felt very uncomfortable and unprofessional. They also seemed to listen in on private conversations. The care provided is unacceptable. If my grandfather became upset or cried, they would simply “ship” him away instead of properly comforting or helping him. There are constantly flies around the facility, and many patients appear neglected. Residents are often left alone for long periods of time, and when help is requested, staff rarely respond. The food is also inadequate for elderly residents. Meals are overloaded with carbohydrates, and patients are not given enough to eat. There are little to no activities for the residents — they spend most of their time just sitting around and staring out the windows with no games, entertainment, or engagement. The staff is extremely unprofessional and should not be working in a care home environment. My grandfather suffered from bed sores for weeks, and no staff member properly addressed the issue. His socks frequently went missing, his mail was opened, and he often did not receive his mail at all. They also failed to assist him with basic care needs. He needs help showering, but staff would not help him. They would not even help him elevate his feet when needed. Melissa constantly lies and makes promises she does not keep. She repeatedly said she would take my grandfather to the bank, but never followed through. Overall, the patients are not properly monitored or cared for. Staff members spend more time sitting around and judging others than actually helping the residents.

I would like to thank all of the staff at Scenic View for caring for my grandma. I want to give an extra big thanks to Melissa for all that she has done. She went above and beyond to give my grandmother the very best care when she needed it the most. This type of care is priceless when it comes to caring for the people we love the most. It’s all that we can hope for when it’s out of our hands and we have to rely on other’s to care for our family members. On a personal and professional level I want to thank everyone at Scenic View for all that they do. They are the best!
