The location of this nursing home is great considering it’s in a neighborhood which makes it more home like. The down side is the staff do not respect the neighborhood. They drive like a bat out of hell almost hitting the neighbors. They act as if they are the only people in this neighborhood. It’s truly a shame. This neighborhood is a big walking and dog friendly space. Now I will say this isn’t an always thing but it is frequent enough that I took the time to write this. If they don’t treat the neighborhood with integrity when their managers aren’t looking how would they treat your loved ones when no one is looking? For an example the gold car pulling into work a little before 9:00 with the back driver side of her car dented. I’m so tired of the staff driving way too fast and almost hitting myself, neighbors and dogs. I have experienced it and I have witnessed this happen to neighbors too. Enough is enough control your staff.

Response from the owner

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We truly appreciate your recognition of the community’s neighborhood setting and understand how important safety and respect within the surrounding area are to residents and neighbors alike. We are very sorry to hear about the experiences you’ve described regarding driving behavior, and we take concerns like these seriously. Creating a safe and respectful environment both inside our community and within the neighborhood is extremely important to us. Your feedback will be shared with leadership so it can be addressed appropriately. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

This is in reference to your response to my previous rating in which you stated that a tree was planted. It would be wonderful if this were true. However, there must be a misunderstanding because there is no newly-planted tree. See the photo, taken today.

I hope the management of this facility are better caregivers than they are neighbors and that they treat their residents and families better than they treat their neighbors. I live directly behind the facility and several times over the past two years I have made a simple request: to plant a tree to replace a large tree, in a line of trees dividing their property from my community, that died. The gap in the trees affects my quality of life. To date, my requests have been ignored.

Response from the owner

Dear Susan, thank you for sharing your feedback. While I know you have sent requests regarding the tree planting, I have confirmation from our team that a new tree was planted two weeks ago in the same spot, and I hope this will help alleviate your burden.

When my mother joined the community we were thrilled. After 2 months the staff left and things went downhill. My mother fell out of bed and was injured. Nobody called me. She had bruises and her spine was fractured. When my mother died in her bed at night nobody called all day to let me know she wasn't okay. Not 1 management person spoke to me nor called me when she died. I was there for a week cleaning out her room and nobody stopped to see me except for 1 nurse. Very disappointing.

Response from the owner

We are truly heartbroken to read about your experience and offer our deepest condolences for the loss of your mother. What you described is not the level of care, communication, or compassion we strive to provide, and we are so sorry that you and your family were left feeling unsupported during such a difficult time. Your concerns—especially around communication, responsiveness, and follow-up—are taken very seriously, and we are committed to reviewing them thoroughly to ensure accountability and improvement.
