Andy always stops what he is doing to help and answer any questions I have. Pinky has a gentle energy and is always willing to help solve any issue big or small (she found a beloved resident’s pair of pants that we thought were lost forever). Rebecca is persistent and is able to gently help residents- she got someone to the podiatrist who refused to go for months.

Response from the owner

Thank you so much Dahlia for your kind feedback! We are thrilled to hear that our team members, Andy, Pinky, and Rebecca, have been able to provide exceptional customer service and go above and beyond to help our residents. We are dedicated to making their experience with us the best possible! Warm regards, Alison

Every single person at Artis has been GREAT!! My wife has been at Artis of Huntington Valley for about a year. They seem more like family rather than hired workers. I highly recommend Artis of Huntington Valley for memory care.

Artis has been a lifesaver for one of my clients with cognitive impairment. It was quite the journey, but her family and I found the right place for her. Everyone I've come into contact with has been not only helpful, but also kept us in the loop on how my client is doing. They're kind, thoughtful, and truly strive to meet the needs of the residents. On a recent visit during a professional event, residents were welcomed to join in and enjoy the food that was offered. One resident even gave a speech welcoming everyone, and I appreciated that the staff gave her the grace and space to address the audience. The communication is excellent — I've always been able to get in touch with someone whenever I or the family have a question.

Response from the owner

Thank you so much Kira for your kind words and for trusting Artis to care for your client with cognitive impairment. We are thrilled that we were able to find the perfect place for her and that our team has provided excellent care every step of the way. It means the world to us that our residents feel welcomed and included, and we are always here to answer any questions you or the family may have. We truly appreciate your support and hope to continue exceeding your expectations. Kind regards, Alison

I’m writing to formally recognize and commend an exceptional staff member at artist senior living of Huntington Valley, activities director, Rhonda Brown. My mother has been a resident at your facility for over two years. In addition, I bring a professional perspective to my observations as I am a state surveyor for long-term care facilities. My role involves evaluating staff performance and quality of care, so I’m well positioned to recognize when employee demonstrates truly outstanding performance. When I see someone who goes above and beyond in the way, Rhonda consistently does I feel essential to acknowledge it. Rhonda is nothing short of extraordinary. She clearly puts her heart and soul into her work, and it shows everything she does. While her title is activities director, her contributions extent far beyond that role. I personally observed her assisting with direct care tasks, such as helping residence change, assisting with meals, and offering comfort simply by sitting holding hands and engaging in meaningful conversation. Rhonda treats every resident with dignity, respect, and love. She meets each individual where they are, regardless of their stage in this difficult journey, and finds creative ways to engage them. Her energy is unmatched, she brings life, warmth, and connection into the building. She does not simply run activities, she creates meaningful experiences and fosters a sense of community. What sets Rhonda apart even further is that she does not operate within the mindset of that’s not my job, no matter the situation, no matter the neighborhood, she steps in the help that level of ownership and accountability is rare. As a family member there are very few individuals I fully trust with my mothers care. Rhonda Brown is truly one in 1 million. Her work ethic, compassion, and dedication. Set a standard that is difficult to match. She is, in many ways, the heart and soul of the artist community. I sincerely hope that her contributions are recognized and valued by leadership as much as they are by the family she impacts every day. Please extend my deepest appreciation to her for the extraordinary work. She continues to do. Sincerely Tarra Witte
