I didn't enjoy being there but it's a good option for older folks! I would not recommend to a young person bent on receiving!

I had my daughter on the waiting list for over a year. We just a call saying she was denied and it’s very discriminating cuz of one of her medications. At least they shouldn’t have given us an assessment if they had no intention to accept her. This is very wrong to do this to my daughter who has multiple disabilities.

Response from the owner

Thank you for sharing your experience. We can understand the frustration and disappointment for your family, particularly as you seek the best care for your daughter. Please know that we understand how challenging this process can be, and we take your concerns seriously. At Acadia NeuroRehab, our primary focus is ensuring the safety and well-being of every individual in our care. Each assessment is conducted with the goal of determining whether our services align with a prospective client’s unique needs. In certain situations, medical or clinical factors may limit our ability to provide the appropriate level of care, and these decisions are made thoughtfully and with respect for the individual. We want to emphasize that we do not discriminate under any circumstances. If you would like to discuss this further or if we can continue to assist you in exploring alternative resources, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly. We wish you and your daughter the very best in finding the care and support she needs.
