We looked at a few memory care communities around Beaverton, and Waterhouse Ridge just felt different right away. What stood out most was how active and engaged everyone was.. there’s always something going on, whether it’s music, activities, or just people spending time together. It didn’t feel quiet or stagnant like some of the other places we visited. The staff clearly puts a lot of care into creating a positive environment, and it really shows. We feel really good about choosing this community.

Moving my mom into memory care was a difficult step, but Waterhouse Ridge has been such a relief for our family. The caregivers are incredibly patient and kind, and they treat residents with real compassion and respect. Every time I visit, I see staff interacting with residents in a genuine way, not just going through the motions. The communication has also been great, which gives us a lot of peace of mind. We’re very thankful to have found this community in Beaverton.

I moved my mom here a few months ago and I’m really happy we chose Waterhouse Ridge. I looked everywhere around town and didn’t feel particularly energized by many of the places, although they were nice. After visiting Waterhouse, it felt different and more community-like. Although the transition has been challenging, I’m happy we’re in this new phase. I have an enormous amount of respect for the staff; they’re a rare group! They each connect with the residents in a unique way and it's been a wonderful surprise to see my mom engage with the community there.

We must have toured every memory care community in the city before we found Waterhouse. We knew this was our place the moment we walked in the front door where we were greeted with smiles and hospitality instantly. This community is not like any other community we had visited. Walking through the doors we heard laughter and live music. The residents were so engaged and interactive, nobody was sleeping with their head on the table or walking around dirty. The staff were very engaged with all of the residents and it just felt like walking into a great big happy family. This was the best decision we have ever made. If you are searching for the perfect place for your loved one you must schedule a tour and experience the magic yourself.
