What I admire most about Village at Valley View is their dedicated Staff (The Caregivers are attentive, kind, helpful and most of all so loving to the residents and families) The homey atmosphere is both welcoming and relaxing.

We held off for years in placing dad in Memory Care. We thought it best for him to be at home with a relative. I wish we had made this move YEARS ago. I LOVE Village @ Valley View in Ashland, OR. My dad is so well cared for. Every time I stop in to see him I'm impressed with how caring and loving all the employees are. They're so patient. They have activities going, music, yummy food. I've never come in and had the facility or my dad smell dirty. My dad talks about how much he likes "working" there. He says it's such a peaceful place. If I could give 10 stars I would. ****EDIT. Dad has passed January of 2026. I can't state enough how much we've enjoyed the staff and the care they gave dad. I will truly miss the residents and staff. I enjoyed my time visiting there....always clean, always friendly. Not only that, but during his passing days they were so kind and actually did an honor walk for my dad as he was taken away.

We (I and 4 others) have a musical group that performs at 9 different memory care facilities in the Rogue Valley 3 times a year so I am well acquainted with each facility. This is the best of all 9 facilities. Extremely attentive staff. It is obvious that this staff really cares for each member of their community. This would be my premier choice for a loved one with memory problems.

I went in to visit my grandma and breakfast was an hour late. the cook walked out of the kitchen in fleece pajamas and a red snow jacket. No professional chef clothing. And the food was very unseasoned. On my way out of the cottage he happened to walk past me and said hello, his breath smelled of alcohol. I was not impressed.
