Looks like a nice place, nice buildings, pretty clean- looks are deceiving. Needs new management. Staff is not friendly or attentive. Wouldn’t say hi and when you had a question they made you feel like they were being put out to do something. They say they will check on your loved one (every couple of hours- which is a long time to be left unchecked) but they do not. My mother sat with my father for 8 hours a day or more and barely saw staff care for my dad. One day we came to visit him and we heard him calling for help. He got entangled in a recliner chair, they didn’t have his nurse call button by him and he had been stuck for almost 40 mins needing help and injuring his leg/foot. Another time we came in and he was winded from not having his oxygen on and we don’t know how long he was without it. Many times I would visit I would witness the staff sitting in corners of common areas on their phones. ) clearly they all couldn’t be on break every time I came by for a visit) When we decided to pull him out from lack of care they gave me a bag of medication and another patients meds were in his bag. Do not put your loved one here unless they are on the independent living side and aren’t in the need of nursing care. Disappointed that the place had 4 or 5 star reviews that I chose the place from. I’d give it one star for the good food service and nice staff that did the food service to his room otherwise walk away or your loved one may not .
