In Jan 26 I was treated for extreme nerve pain and could not walk. After three days I was transferred to the Willows in Tiffin. I had never been in rehab. I was wheelchair bound and had to be assisted from bed to hygiene and dressing. The staff was excellent, the room was very clean and comfortable. They even made schedule changes so I could continue attending Zoom meetings. Nurses were knowledgeable and pleasant. Dietary staff was great at making changes when I needed something āspecialā. The rehab folks were able to rehabilitate me so I could walk after six weeks and then continued my care with Ten weeks of out patient occupational therapy. Very good results and nice people.!

I would not recommend this facility based of the experience with my fathers care. Unfortunately, it has felt like primary focus is on billing rather then patient well-being. When insurance issues arose, there was little to no guidance or assistance offered. Instead of trying to help us navigate the situation, we were left trying to resolve on our own during an already extremely stressful time. There have also been consistent concerns about response times. When my father needed assistance, nurses have taken an unreasonably long time to respond which is extremely concerning in an assisted living setting where residents depend on ASSISTANCE! Additionally, interactions with the social worker have been very disappointing. Communication has felt dismissive and lacking empathy, which only adds to the stress families already face when a loved one is in care. I understand healthcare facilities can be busy, but compassion should be a main priority and sadly that was not our experience here.

My mom came to The Willows in November when we were no longer able to care for her at home. The staff gave her 11 weeks of amazing care and helped her to die comfortably and with dignity. During the short time we were there we were so pleased with every aspect of her care, the facility itself, activities, and most importantly the staff. They sincerely treated my mother (and us) like family. The aides, nurses, dietary staff, housekeepers, and administrators are all worth their weight in gold. We have had stays in multiple nursing homes over the years and The Willows in Tiffin is superior to all of them. I would highly recommend this facility.

Just wanted to share our great experience at the Willows in Tiffin. My husband was at Saint Vincent in Toledo for 10 days and then was transferred to another facility which we were disappointed in and then he came to the Willows.ššššš What a differenceš he was there from January 9 until February 20. The personnel was extraordinarily wonderful, they treated him with respect and really tried to get him back on his feet as soon as possible. He loved the activities, the food, the people both in rehab, residence living and personnel. He probably wouldāve liked to have stayed lol but we needed to get back in the swing of things at home.!! We are so glad he is home. Again thank you everyone at the Willows keep up the good work, you can tell your employees like to work there itās just not a job. Sara Wax and family
