My loved one was placed here for hospice care and I have to say I am very displeased with this facility. Despite their website listing “nutritious foods and snacks” under services, they frequently requested food to be delivered on top of the $3500/m price point. It’s been a handful of weeks since my loved one has passed away and they have not reached out once to see if we would like their belongings returned, which includes a very expensive wheelchair. On top of that they haven’t even reached out to offer condolences which I think is quite frankly rude and disrespectful, and because of that I feel like they do not care about the people in their care or their families who pay an arm and a leg to be in this faculties care. If I could rate it 0 stars I would.

It's a beautiful place and extremely professional and well run. New Mexico is very lucky to have such a place. In this day and age, it seems that the facilities which are run by the State are the best as the State is also the regulating authority for these places. So of course the ones they run are most likely to remain in compliance. These private facilities which are popping up everywhere might be prettier on the outside but they are very profit-driven, at the expensive of the quality of care for your loved one. The Meadows Home must make money to survive but that isn't their #1 priority. As long as you have Medicaid or Medicare, all is well.
