I would highly recommend The Lakes Senior Living as a place of long-term care for your loved one. It's never an easy decision to move a parent from their home to assisted living. It's heartbreaking. But when I found this assisted living home, I knew it was the right one. My father lived at The Lakes Senior Living for the last 3 years of his life. Helen and George (the owners and primary caretakers), and all the staff there treated my father like family. They created a warm environment that felt like home for him. They are experienced, they kept me informed, and they were always available to answer my questions or any concerns. What impressed me most was the attention to detail and the personalized care they provided. It was clear they genuinely cared about my father's well-being. I felt he was safe and was treated with dignity and compassion. I'm so grateful for the care he received there. Thank you Helen, George, and all the staff for making my father's last years of life comfortable and safe.

I can't say enough about how well my mother was treated at the Lakes Senior Living. It was a very hard decision to move my mother to a group home. I couldn't take care of her anymore and needed help. George and Helen welcomed my mother and made me feel very comfortable. Not only is the place immaculate, but they both do an exceptional job of caring for each of their residents. I looked around at a few other facilities prior, but nothing compares to The Lakes Senior Living. I could go to work and not have to worry one bit about my mother. Highly recommended!

It's never easy to move a loved one out of his or her home and into assisted living, but The Lakes Senior Living is the next best thing to home. This is a beautiful & extremely clean single family home modified to provide all residents their own comfortable private spaces plus very comfortable common areas for eating, lounging, visiting, etc. Everyone is encouraged to sit at the dining room table & interact with each other while enjoying home made meals. Special meals are available for those with specific dietary needs. The large living room has comfortable automatic leather recliners & cozy blankets for each resident with a very large flat screen TV to enjoy their favorite programs & movies. The owners & operators Helen & her husband George and all of their staff are kind, caring, health care trained & very knowledgeable in Seniors wants & needs. Local agencies & home health care providers are always welcomed per each residents needs and as prescribed by his or her health care providers. Every resident is assisted as per their individual needs with bathing, dressing, eating, medication administering, walking, etc. and all with exceptional care & dignity. My father lived here for quite some time & came to love Helen & George like family just as the rest of us did too. We cannot thank them enough for all the love & care they showed & shared for him & all of us. Thank you, thank you, thank you.........

My sister and I found Helen's place after Dad fell in a larger assisted living facility, where they just couldn't provide him the attention he needed. The whole experience was amazing. Helen and her family, it is mostly staffed by the family, were wonderful. Helen clearly loves her residents, takes wonderful care of them, and treats them with affection and kindness. The home is beautiful and immaculate. They make delicious home cooked meals. They were always available when we had any questions, and were very responsive to any issues we had. Dad recently passed, but we were able to be with him, and he was a comfortable as possible. Being in that beautiful home, and not a hospital or clinical setting, made Dad's transition as peaceful as possible. Helen and her family are the absolute best! The care they provided for my loved one was amazing. Their home is beautiful, they cook fresh healthy meals, and keep everything immaculate. Helen spent many hours with my friend daily giving him one on one attention, she’s genuine and kind. I will be forever grateful for her and her family. If you’re reading this review and wondering if you should call her; do it. It was the best decision I made for our family.
