As a case manager it is often vital for us to get referrals to places where our clients will have a safe place to go. Upon calling this facility, the staff that answered the phone was very unprofessional. We could not hear her due to all the noise in the background. When asked where we could send referral information, she gave us a very random and incomplete email, then ended the call stating," I am on another call so..." At this point I ended the call. If the intake staff or information center does not care enough to neither listen to the needs of the referring facility, or give correct information, that is not a place I would ever refer one of my clients. For future reference, when a facility contacts your facility for a placement of a client, a little professional communication goes a long way.

This place is more like a prison than assisted living. Scary joint that I'd avoid at all costs.

As a paramedic who works in this area, I would be horrified by this place if my grandma or grandpa was here. And I feel a duty to warn others of this establishment who think about living here. I was called to this location for a patient who was "short of breath." I get there, and see that the bed-bound patient is not attached to her home oxygen, and that's all she needed. Instead of helping this poor woman get her oxygen, they opted to call the ambulance and almost get her stuck with a completely unnecessary ambulance and hospital bill. They didn't know anything about her medical history, and gave up calling the POA after one call. I called them multiple times and was finally able to resolve the situation (and do their job) myself. These people need a new job.

Delightful dining and atmosphere. My children took me last night for my birthday. The food and service was superb. Thanks to the entire staff and to our server, Stephanie for making my evening a true birthday blessing. You must experience The Americana.

I've been in places that take advantage of you and just care about the money. The people at The Americana Assisted Living really care about me. Its clean, the staff is attentive, the food is great and the management is always around to give a nice word and encouragement. I feel safe here.
