Susan Bailis Assisted Living is an amazing place. I can't imagine a better home for my 93-year-old uncle, especially since I live in the Rocky Mountain West and he is in Boston. He has a wonderful apartment, the staff at Susan Bailis are professional and caring, and if I have a question or concern, there is always someone to speak with. And the followup and issue resolution (if necessary) are the very best imaginable. I give five stars, but Susan Bailis deserves seven or even eight. Highly professional and compassionate. And there are plenty of Red Sox fans! Perfect.

Susan Bailis Assisted Living is one of those rare organizations that feels more like a community than a facility! Every staff member encountered at SB leads with compassion. The care Mom receives from medication reminders to meal service in the beautiful dining room, is personalized, caring, and professional. The staff goes above and beyond because they care for the senior residents like family. For example, the activities director takes the time to knock on Mom's apartment door and personally invite and escort her to the numerous and varied activities! The social supports at Susan Bailis have helped Mom thrive! The care put into the building by the maintenance team is seen in the fresh paint, clean rugs, updated furniture, and clean neutral air! The responsiveness of the administration is unparalleled! I received a call from the community relations director who took the time to listen to my story and walk me patiently through the tangle of paperwork-- even calling me one day to check on me when I gave up! Susan Bailis Assisted Living unequivocally enhances the lives of their community members while giving family member piece of mind. It is crystal clear that SBAL is the BEST IN BOSTON!

They take great care of my family member. He enjoys the aides, chef/food, nursing and exec team members. It's my experience that everyone is approachable and responsive.

Sure beats a nursing home, better than most rest homes. The location is ideal. your so near the Pru shopping complex. The MBTA MASS AVE station IS just across the street. Tons of local stores, banks, u name it close, truly walkable. If your independent but family wants YOU to be in some assisted situation, then this is the place for you. Food, at all these places are about the same, but they are working on that. For me, who cooks many of my own meals, the kitchenette is small, but with a microwave and two burners, I can cook about anything, from brownies to steak to chicken thighs, u name it I cook it in a microwave oven... guess I am expert. Since the man across the street, where I grew up invented the mini radar tube. and his home had the first prototype, that I got to use often....so with over 1/2 a century of using a microwave oven, am leading expert in using it to cook,
