IF I COULD GO LOWER I WOULD. Bed bugs everywhere.

My best friend is now living in the memory care unit there and I couldn't be happier. She's a busy bee so she doesn't get bored.

Save yourself from a nightmare. This place is neglectful and uninhabitable. They maintained a bed bug infestation that is 100% due to their own lack of action. The Executive Director, Nicole, attempted to deny there were bed bugs even after I showed staff a photo and brought down an actual bug I killed in my father’s room. Look at the attached photos and tell me those aren’t bed bugs, that’s what Nicole attempted to do. His next door neighbor had multiple infestations, and instead of treating it properly, they prefer to deny the reality. The neighbor was even walking around with live bed bugs and showing them to other residents in the lunchroom. I emailed Nicole as this was after the first incident of her having bed bugs. She assured me it was being handled… it clearly wasn’t. I ended up finding more bed bugs in my father’s room and reported it again. Nicole still tried to deny it was happening — even knowing about the neighbor’s repeated infestations and after I personally handed them a bug I found. Pure neglect. My awareness of the final infestation came to light on 6/18/25…Nicole continuously denied the presence of bugs despite her own staff confirming it verbally showing my father bed bugs. They did not have professional pest control until 6/30. In the meantime, the infestation is spreading through the facility and vulnerable people are at risk. We got him into a rehab facility after advocating for PACE to step in — not for medical care, but just so he could have a clean bed to sleep in. We’ve had to spend thousands of dollars on new furniture, clothes, and the emotional stress has been overwhelming. And beyond the bed bugs, they failed to follow his basic plan of care. They didn’t do his laundry weekly, they didn’t clean regularly, and I ended up paying out of pocket for things they were supposed to be doing — while they collected thousands every month. He did not need any assistance with daily personal care needs, but for those that are I am extremely concerned. I would be shocked if they followed the care plan for higher need residents when they failed to do the bare minimum for a mostly independent individual. This place does not deserve anyone’s hard earned money, and definitely shouldn’t be getting MassHealth funding. They should be ashamed of the complete neglect to vulnerable handicapped and elderly people.

C'est un bon endroit pour accueillir des personnes retraitées
