I'm way overdue from leaving a review. I thought when my sister had found a place for my dad, that we would feel good knowing he would be in good hands. I don't remember seeing a website back in 2019, but I hope they truly cook the meals and like one time I found out my dad was cream mushroom can. He couldn't eat anything dairy and the man (I forgot his name) was almost denying it. The people in the beginning seemed to be caring (or maybe pretended to be because, after all they saw $$$$ on my dad's forehead), in less than a month they showed their true colors. My dad had diarrhea and they wanted my dad out because it was a hazard...I mean is my dad the only one to get diarrhea. They didn't want to be responsible for my dad's well being. I called another group home on how this GH handled the situation and he felt sorry for us. He said the diarrhea was no reason to "kick out" my dad. It hurts how this family dealt with my dad's situation, but this place is one I wouldn't even put my dad or mom in. I remember when the husband and wife went to see my dad to meet him in the skilled nurse facility, and when my sister asked how much was the fee for the room, my sister saw the husband knudge her, like reminding her what price to say. It was a shared room in 2019. They had charged us $2500. Never making that mistake again. Do your research. There are so many group homes. Just be patient and search diligently.
