Parkside Villa

We like it here! This is my Mom’s third facility outside of the hospital and it’s the first place when I asked if she liked it here and she said “it’s cool.” It is cool here from all the restaurants up the street to the friendly, down to earth nurses and aides it really is nice here. There is no strong urine stinch. If you smelled it once it won’t be like that tomorrow . The food is not that bad either. Could be worse. I can actually sit in my Mothers room comfortably now. Very chill. The residents have character too! An accepting atmosphere. There’s also a nice trail that is right off the parking lot. To be honest there aren’t enough nurses or aides but that’s everywhere unfortunately so if you can visit often do it. It always helps! There are good days and bad days. My mother receives her rehab/pt nearly everyday and she is doing well overall . Not declining .You can hear the other resident’s tv which makes it cozy too or you can close your door. Parkside has a carpeted and non carpeted side for the residents in the building. The carpeted side smells fine here in the Gardens. I’m comfortable enough I don’t want to end my visit :(
