Woodlands at Sunset House the

88 degrees outside and the air isn’t working. This is ridiculous! All the money that they get for skilled nursing ($425 per day) and long-term care ($300 per day) and they can't afford to put in a new AC system? The staff is great here, but Corporate you need to step up to the plate before this place becomes just like Divine. Maybe you already are. They don't have air either. I bet all of the corporate heads live in nice houses and drive fancy cars, while your patients sit in hot rooms. The next couple of days it's supposed to be in the 90s and there's no air. You need to make some changes here so you're patients don't have to sit in this hot, stagnant building. Not to mention you can't even open the windows for fresh air or a breeze because they're broken. Like I said Ridiculous!!

My mother was here for appox. 3 weeks. First, I want to say that this is a beautiful complex. Very relaxing to look at from the outside and very clean and well kept on the inside. No smells at all. I must admit, her care was professional. The aids took personal care of my mother and treated her well. I love the fact that her well being was a priority. I will recommend this facility. If you are putting a loved one in a rehab facility, please do your homework. I visited before my mother arrived. They were very welcoming. The rooms are like mini suites. Very well kept and clean. Thank you for the awesome job done.

Our mom moved to The Woodlands, the independent living community at Otterbein Sunset House, in 2023. The facility is well maintained, the setting tranquil and lovely, and the staff friendly and attentive. We are grateful that our mom has two happy years at the Woodlands before moving to live closer to family. Thank you!

Rehab staff has been great. Mom is ahead of schedule!
