Choosing memory care for Mom was incredibly difficult, but Middlefield Oaks has made a huge difference for our family. The caregivers are kind, patient, and truly take the time to get to know each resident. You can feel that it’s not just a job to them. Every time we visit, we see genuine interaction and care, which gives us so much peace of mind. We’re very grateful to have found this community.

Had a great experience stopping by Middlefield Oaks Assisted Living. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, Denise was so kind and easy to talk to. Sean at the front desk was also awesome and very helpful. You can tell they really care about their residents and take pride in what they do. The community felt warm and inviting, and I really appreciated them taking the time to chat and show me around.

We are so happy with the care my mother in law has been receiving at Middlefield Oaks. Tracey and Tory worked wonders in getting her apartment ready on short notice, thank you. Middlefield appears to be a well organized and professional operation, however, behind the scenes is a very different story. Money is obviously their top priority. The staff is friendly enough, but the care provided is far less than adequate. All the fees and rent continues to increase while the level of care decreases. Rooms are not being cleaned properly or at all, there is never a maintenance person when needed, the washers and dryers are nearly all inoperable, the gas fireplace in the front sitting room has been inoperable for at least a year, and the food is so tasteless and cold that I have to bring food in after paying for all these services to be provided as well as paying an outside caregiver to come in once a week and clean and try to do laundry. I feel bad for the staff as I believe they are doing their best with the limited resources they are given. I will be filing a detailed report with the Oregon Dept. of Human Services with what I have observed and what other residents are reporting. If these issues can not be resolved, I will be forced to seek alternatives.
