After years of independent living in her own home, our Aunt found it necessary to move to Assisted Living. We braced for a difficult transition, but instead found a caring, loving environment at Heritage in which she truly thrived. The staff is wonderful, the food is excellent, the care is provided with skill and compassion. Our Aunt blossomed in an environment where she was respected, encouraged, and loved. Our family will be forever grateful for her exceptional experience there, and we would highly recommend it to anyone seeking quality care for their loved-one. Thank-you, Heritage team💖

My father is THRIVING there. These people are so on top of every need he has! He loves it there! The people that work there are extremely competent. All my worries about him having an accident or medical emergency are gone! He came there very very weak. The longer he has been there the sharper and stronger he gets! The activities and socialization have made a HUGE difference. Ken, the director, is about as good a person as you can find and quick to respond in communication, which as anyone knows with an aging parent, is so important ! The outpatient visiting nurse, OT, PT that are affiliated with the campus are great and I love them being under the same umbrella as his assisted living (although he hasn’t needed them for a while as he has gotten much healthier there!). The campus is lovely and my father has easy access to the town library and cvs across the street. His bank is right next door. Having him there is a huge peace of mind for me ( a couple of times when he first arrived, he fell and I got a call and and then told how they were handling it….which was fantastic!) and it has greatly increased his quality of life! Wonderful place! The pictures are the furnished studio he first stayed in for a month of respite care. He was going to move into a one bedroom, which did not become available, and we weren’t too sure about having him live permanently in the studio, but he was doing so well there so we decided he should stay. We moved his belongings in and fit so much into the generous studio( even got his book library in!) that it made it instantly home! He didn’t have to leave any important belongings behind! He is very comfy there! It has a large bathroom, kitchenette, big bright windows, and three closets that hold a lot! The coffee cafe is his favorite hangout to read the newspaper every day! My favorite is a room with a gas fireplace that they can turn on with a flick of a switch and sit by! I just cannot say enough good things about this place. Is there anything bad? It’s been half a year and I haven’t found anything! Oh also my father has celiac disease and needs a gluten free diet. No problem there! I also had to add to the review. When my father was in rehab I was convinced he was declining and that he would go into memory care due to his physical and cognitive issues and then die in a year . It was really bad. When they came and evaluated him and said regular assisted living I was very surprised! They were spot on with their assessment! It has been 8 months now. I just saw him this past weekend after a month ( I live a ways away) and he is now as himself 3 years ago! It’s absolutely delightful! Every time I see him he gets younger and younger. The proof is in the pudding as they say!

My husband moved into the Homestead assisted living memory care program at Mary Ann Morse at Heritage last month. This assisted living residence was highly recommended by the life care manager I worked with to find the best community for my husband. From the moment I walk through the doors and was greeted by the receptionist through several weeks of observing the the care my husband is receiving, I have been impressed and reassured that he is in the right place. The staff and leadership consistently demonstrate a culture of caring, compassion and competence. They know who my husband is, what his needs and, importantly, how to engage him in the day-to-day activities of the community. My husband's mood and mobility have improved relatively significantly in the short tome he had been at Mary Ann Morse at Heritage. I am continually reassured with every visit and interaction I have with the people who care for my husband. The staff are engaged, cheerful and appear to genuinely love their jobs and the people they work with. I had many other options when searching for assisted living memory care programs, and am so grateful that I found this one.

I've always had a negative opinion about Rehabs. My experience at Mary Anne Morse changed all that. The staff is incredible and hard working. They're warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and they put their hearts into caring for you. I even adopted several of the staff into my family. I acquired a brother, Bobby, and two daughters, Mona and Manolita. Lol. There was even one nurse/ CNA(?), Margaret, who braided my hair for me without even being asked! She surprised me twice by doing that. What a heart! I loved it there! Thank you very much for your help and support, staff at MAM. If you're ever in need of a Rehab, I highly recommend Mary Anne Morse. You won't regret it.
