My dad has lived at Laurel Parc for the past ten years. He moved in with my mom and it was a perfect place for them. Mom passed away seven years ago and dad continued to live at Laurel Parc where he had many friends, great activities to engage in and an attentive staff to help him age gracefully. He has lived in independent living, moved into assisted living and is now on the waiting list for memory care. All three levels have served his needs when he needed them. As his daughter I couldn't be more grateful for the caring, professional staff working at Laurel Parc.

My mother-in-law has lived at Laurel Parc for approximately two years. She lived in independent living for a year, and after two pretty bad falls, she moved to Brightway. She has received excellent care from most of the employees at Laurel Parc. They are compassionate, attentive and kind. The ones who are good, are outstanding. The reason I am giving four starts rather than five (which I was going to give 4 1/2 stars, but couldn't see that was an option), is because they do have some employees that are not as attentive, or kind, or upbeat, as the really good ones. There is a drastic difference between the best of the best, and the employees who are just going through the motions. These residents deserve kind, upbeat employees, and the ones who are like that, like Cassandra, are a Godsend to the residents there. The management team is fantastic; great at communicating and very kind to all the residents. The food at the restaurant is great, the employees in the restraurant are great, and the holiday buffets are outstanding. My mother in law does not partake in any activities, but there are a LOT to choose from. I would choose to live at Laurel Parc when I get to that point in my life!

My wife and I moved to Laurel Parc about 14 months ago. We were totally regretting leaving our wonderful home in Claremont, but health issues were such that we needed help. We moved into Independent Living understanding that Home Health Care was available in the complex. Sure enough, the time came when we needed occasional assistance and it was there. Between us we have numerous doctor visits, and some delightful drivers take us to them and bring us back. Now we need Memory Care and find it a good and safe place. The people here are kind and helpful and always ready to reach out to us. In the Dining Room we find excellent food, at a very reasonable cost, and comradery with people of every ilk. This place is as good as it gets.

We have found it to be fun living at Laurel Parc! There is always something to do. The exercise classes are fun and offer a good workout The residents are friendly, the staff is qualified and very accommodating and the food couldn't be better.

My 103 yr old mom has lived at Laurel Parc for 8 yrs.....& what a great facility this has been for her.....the physical setting is over the top high end.....and the food is a 5 star quality.....& most importantly, the care that she has received by "the angel caregivers" has been a blessing......the entire staff is efficient & really congenial.....it feels so great to call this home for my mom!!
