Genoa Retirement Village

My grandfather came here to spend the last few months of his life. He spent a month or so in assisted living, and a couple months in critical care. In every wing of the facility, and at every step of his end of life process, the employees were phenomenal to him, as well as to his friends and family. The food, the care and general atmosphere— I don’t imagine us finding a better facility for my grandpa to live out out his last few months. My family and I will be forever grateful for each and every member of the team here for making the entire process as easy and painless as possible.

I wanna say thank you for taking care of my grandma Betty when she was alive. She always wanted to go there because how the staff was so attentive to their residents. She always would want to go there. I hope that one day I can become part of the team and be able to care for residents the way the staff did for my grandma.

This is my second time using this wonderful facility. The employees, everyone from nursing to food services to transportation and PT are all kind and caring.They all know you by name. That is the most important piece of staying here. There are activities to suit every interest. The food is tasty and once a month they have an outside entity come in. I have had Chinese, pizza and even KFC! If I ever need a place to recover again this will be it! Talk to Charles if you ever need anything.

I was a resident at the Genoa Retirement Village for approximately 4 weeks and was in need of rehabilitation. I can honestly say from the time I started my rehabilitation until I was ready to go home, I received the best of care. The Staff beginning with the Administrator Charles,the nurses, the nurses aides, the cooks, all the kitchen help, and the therapists went above and beyond to meet my needs and make me more comfortable during my stay.
