The one star is for the memory unit. My uncle was on the third floor, memory care unit and it was very bad. They gave his medicine at incorrect times (which caused KNOWN negative side effects/behavioral changes which they were of course upset about when he became agitated), they "lost" his cane and walker, never gave his medicine back to my aunt that was brought in and paid for with her money, didn't let him out of bed, and then the worst - they didn't take care of him; he ended up in the ED where both the nurse and Dr expressed concerns of neglect because of sores. I'm glad this place seems to be great for assisted living. That is very important and I'm not trying to take away from the entire facility. The memory unit just doesn't seem properly trained and then instead of owning up to that, they just ignore and pass the blame.

I am a volunteer with Delaware County Master Gardeners. Once a month we visit and hold workshops on flowers, bees and garden related crafts. The residents and staff are always so happy. The facility is very clean and the staff is attentive. It always makes me happy to go there and spend time with the residents.
