Cogir of Tigard

It's a very lively place where you feel welcomed. Lots of the residents are very nice and friendly as well as the care staff.

The resident in this community are some of the happiest I have ever seen. The residents I spoke with were happy to talk about all the amenities the facility offers. They spoke about how there are always multiple different activities for residents to participate in so no one is left out. There are also many outing offered throughout the week which allows the residents ample opportunity to explore the community and farther destinations. They said the chef keeps things interesting by changing the menu seasonally and serving fresh and healthy meals that match their interests. They told me that if they request something it will be on the menu or activity board about a week later. In my time I have a seen a lot of memory care facilities be an afterthought. However the memory care unit at Cogir has some of the happiest residents I have seen on tours. The residents are engaged and raved about their care staff members. Overall this community is one of the more luxurious and engaging communities when it comes to the retirement options in the area.

We received a tour at Cogir Tigard and were very impressed! We viewed 1 bedroom & 2 bedroom apartments and they were beautiful. They invited us to stay for lunch and it was fantastic! The community was very neat, clean and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and polite. To include Lorelei, Scott and Brittney.

I recently visited Cogir of Tigard while exploring options for my grandmother, who may be moving from California to Oregon, and I left incredibly impressed. What stood out most was how caring and patient the staff were with the residents. As residents were making their way to lunch, team members took the time to answer questions, offer support, and make sure everyone felt comfortable. It never felt rushed or transactional you could genuinely see the compassion and respect they have for the people who live there. I was also amazed by how much activity and engagement was happening throughout the community, especially for a newer community. There was a wonderful energy in the building, with residents socializing, participating in activities, and staying connected. It felt vibrant, welcoming, and full of life. After spending time there, I can absolutely picture my grandmother thriving in this environment. If she decides to move to Oregon from California, Cogir of Tigard will be the place she calls home. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a warm, caring, and active community. It truly made a lasting impression.

We just moved our sister-in-law into Cogir Tigard Memory Care. After visiting other memory care facilities, we were able to appreciate how this facility stands out as an exceptional place for other loved ones with a higher mental capacity. Santine, Brittany, Cassie, Meile and Lorelei have been very kind, understanding and helpful. It has also been a pleasure connecting with Dakota on the front desk.
