Our experience at Cherry Blossom Cottage has been top notch and incredible. The caregivers are the most kind, compassionate, loving and attentive angels ever. My mom has lived in 3 care facilities so far, and Cherry Blossom Cottage has been the very best. I love seeing how the caregivers talk to my mom, kiss her on the forehead and tuck her in. They check on her and the rest of the family members often. When the director said they have high standards she means it. From removing room trash all throughout the day, to wiping down all surfaces each week, and doing all my mom's laundry so timely. The food is delicious, served by caring staff, and the activities are varied and fun. From Mother's Day tea, therapy goats, church services and talented musicians. Even the facility nurse brings out his guitar to regal the residents. It's not uncommon to see residents gathering on their own to do art, tai chi, puzzles, listen to music and enjoy one another's company. The atmosphere and community is a home and family. Thank you Cherry Blossom for loving my mom and providing such a marvelous home for her.

They recently had a staff member named amber who sprayed air freshener in a seniors wound instead of her RX When the owner found out she laughed about it and now the nurse who reported it is up for review and or termination. This is a private cult not ownership. This place need to be reported to the BBB and health department Let’s not use this place for our elders who we love and care for

Andrew, the freedom to speak our opinions is one of the greatest rights we have. And as the owner of this facility, I am extremely aware of and deeply respect the rights of our residents, their families as well as each of my employees, even employees who leave frustrated because we do not compromise when it comes to our policies and procedures. We do not, nor have ever had an employee named Amber. This incident was not reported to the owner, nor would I ever laugh or disregard such a serious matter. There is no evidence such an event occurred. It was diligently investigated after your review by our RCC and RN who are both continuing to provide amazing care. As a small community we know and value each of our residents and are committed to providing personalized care to each. This does require a dedicated staff who are fully invested in the facility’s values to meet the needs of those residents. Fortunately, we are blessed to have an incredible team who can do that.

I live at Cherry Blossom. I am appreciative of the home-cooked food (Although I was a better cook, and am an adventuresome eater... so, good, but not great- for me). I like the caregivers who pay attention to me as they help me. Most do, a few do not. I am convinced that this is very much like all residential facilities. I have been here a little over a year and there has been a great deal of turnover of staff. Once again I feel that is indicative of the business, not of this facility in particular. It is kept very, very clean. My room is very comfortable. I think friends and family feel very welcomed here. The Activity Director is a real jewel. They evaluate my care level every three months, and the cost goes up the more care I need. I feel my abilities are not necessarily re-evaluated with fresh eyes each time. The only other criticism I have is that the owner/manager does not make herself personally accessible to the residents. Concerns we have either do not hit her ears, or they are conveyed to her. But she (Becky) never gets back with a response. My mother-in-law lived here 30 years ago, and I felt good enough about the place to come back and live here myself when I needed to. It's a fine place if you can afford it, as it is private pay only. So once insurance runs out it's all up to you.

Cherry Blossom Cottage administration are communicative and supportive. There is a robust schedule of activities for residents. It is small enough to be personal, but large enough to offer more social opportunities. I appreciate Cherry Blossom Cottage.

This place has been everything I could have asked for when I needed somewhere for my mom to move. The staff is caring and always willing to go the extra mile. The food is great. The rooms are bright and spacious.
