Staff worked quickly with our family to help my mom. She was showing some concerning behaviors and we felt she wasn’t safe at home. The building is a nice size and a good fit for us. It’s been an adjustment for mom, but the staff really went the extra mile to welcome her to the community. They’ve checked in on her and kept me updated. I value the effort put into her transition and it’s given me such peace of mind that she’s being taken care of.

I’ve been to Brookdale before. it’s small community one floor - easy to navigate. residents all happy and engaged and some still drive! they’re allowed to have pets. The hallways smelled nice not like some other places. they don’t use staffing agencies — good! Take people with dementia diagnoses and key pads on doors for safety. Glad my friend is here.

Great place to live when your at the time of your life your ready. Lots of activities and crafts plus day trips and the food is great. Life mean changes and this place is a safe , clean , friendly place to live.

We toured here for my mom a few years back. Mom liked the view of the courtyard from the rooms we saw. The residents were playing cards in the sunroom. Mom had been an avid bridge player, so that was a plus for us. They have a salon which is open once a week for the residents. They do haircuts and perms which mom liked. Front porch facing the road to sit and watch traffic. It was between Akron where my sister is and Dover where I live, but ultimately mom needed skilled care and we kept her in Dover.

Very nice community. We liked the smaller feel of the building. Kinda feels like you’re in someone’s house rather than senior care. My grandpa liked the enclosed courtyard area and once a week they have yoga and the instructor brings her two dogs. Aides respond to calls pretty quick and the food seems good. Always smells good when I come in after work to visit before dinner.
