My experience as a spouse of a resident is that staff were never available to supervise groups of people suffering from dementia and residents were left alone unsupervised for long periods of the day . Severe behavior problems were allowed to live in the facility and caused daily disturbances to other patients with dementia by pushing them in wheelchairs , grabbing their food , pushing them around in chairs , touching their food .. all With zero supervision . Applicants are accepted who need much higher levels of care. Residents are left to eat with food spills all over them. No one helps them eat . No training in dementia among the CNA ‘s who are also not managed by the upper level team . They ( cna s) pretty much did what they want, including ignoring family requests for help . If the applicant is early stage then try this for a short time . When disease progresses you’ll need costly private aides or your loved one will have no care, no supervision and nothing more than a room and meals . Oh and a locked door that the aides handle by screaming 24/7 at the resident trying to elope while the aide continues on her phone. Assisted living after a profit and at the expense of the vulnerable . Wake up Bridges , your residents won’t last long here .

This review is for a wonderful staff member at Bridges.. Malek Barnett.. He had gone above and beyond duty this week to help a resident and myself (caregiver). On Tues my clients toilet would not stop running, so it couldn't flush. Malek was rt there to fix the problem. While he was working, a very confused resident walked in the wrong room. Once he was done he went rt over to resident, put his arm around her and said to her "Lets take a walk and talk" he calmed her rt down. On Thurs. I was looking for a spray bottle to spray my clients hair down so I could blow it out and curl it. Not only did he go find me one, he told us we could keep it. It was brand new.. That was so nice of him and we won't forget what an incredible heart this man has.. I hope Bridges find many more just like him!!

I am writing to share my feedback regarding a recent tour I took of your community while searching for a place for my mother and father. Unfortunately, I found it to be one of the worst experiences I have had during my search. During my visit, I met with Taylor, who was extremely pushy regarding us leaving a deposit. I also spoke with the Executive Director, John, who seemed clueless about the topics we discussed. It was disheartening to see, and I feel terrible for the families who have loved ones currently residing there. Furthermore, I noticed that the CNAs were on their phones instead of attending to residents as they should be. When I asked about this, I was informed that it is an ongoing issue. I hope you take this feedback into serious consideration to improve the quality of care and professionalism at your facility. Regards, Marry G
