I am so happy with the care my mother is receiving at Bridges at Mashpee. Prior to moving her to Bridges, my mother had begun self-isolating and was becoming depressed. The folks at Bridges are so positive and wonderful at getting her to participate in the activities they have on site and also the great field trips to gardens, beaches, and the channel. I love it that they post photos on Facebook so that I can see pictures of my mom looking happy, doing fun things, like balloon swatting with noodles, sing-alongs, arts and crafts (which she never did before), and eating really delicious looking food. The place itself is very welcoming - lots of light and open spaces - and the courtyards are wonderful for when she wants to sit outside and enjoy the sun. Everyone I've interacted with at Bridges has been so positive and helpful. Knowing that my mom is happy at Bridges gives me such peace and comfort.

Thank you for sharing your mother's story, Victoria. Seeing her move from isolation to truly engaging with life, whether it’s through arts and crafts or trips to the channel, is exactly what we strive for at Bridges by EPOCH at Mashpee. We also recognize that memory care is a journey for the whole family, so it means the world to us to know that our team’s support has brought you peace of mind and comfort as well.

I moved my mother into Bridges after she was hospitalized and moved to another facility for a month. I was struggling with finding a place that I felt confident would care for my mother with the respect and kindness that she deserves. As soon as I met with Julie for a tour and met many of the amazing caregivers at Bridges I knew I had found the right place for what was a hard situation. I know many others struggle as decisions to care for loved ones with dementia arise but having the staff at Bridges has helped in more ways than I can truly describe. Julie took the time during the tour for both me and my daughter to answer questions and explain the details that make Bridges dedicated to being the best memory care facility available. More importantly to me is that every member of the staff engages with the residents and their families with thoughtfulness. I know for myself and for others I have spoken with that making these decisions for a loved one is truly heartbreaking and the decisions don't end once the facility is chosen. So I am grateful that my research led me to Bridges and that we have the support of the whole staff as we navigate these next steps.

My dad spent his last 6 months at Bridges in Mashpee. I couldn't be happier with the quality of care and attentiveness of the staff. They were expert caring for people with memory issues, always respectful, and caring. Each day there are a couple of activities, frequently musicians performing songs from the 40's, 50's, 60's or 70s and the residents love it. The performances were high quality and engaging. The staff, from nurses, to daily care providers, and even the front door receptionist all got to know our entire family and especially my father. I recommend Bridges in Mashpee to any family with struggling to care for a family member with a memory illness.
Response from the owner

We are very proud of our approach to memory care - offering quality care and life enrichment for residents, but also extending this care to loved ones who are going through tough challenges. We're glad you felt this during your time associated with Bridges. Thank you for your support.

Bridges is a compassionate and professional organization. They helped my husband transition to residency, and supported me as my husband’s wife and caregiver who also needed support. Bridges’ knowledge and expertise is exceptional. I highly recommend Bridges. I am updating my review six months later. I could not be more pleased. Both my husband and I were Healthcare Executives in the Boston Healthcare market. Our experience and insights provide a unique point of view. I am even more pleased now than when I first transitioned my husband. Competence, Compassion, and consistency are hard to achieve 24/7/365. Bridges leadership and team meet this challenge exceptionally well. Thank you Bridges for your attentiveness to my dear husband.
Response from the owner

We're glad to hear that you had a positive experience transitioning to Bridges Mashpee. Thank you for your support and recommendation.
