Bickford of Rocky River

My sister passed away there. She was in the memory unit. Poor care, no housecleaning. She was left sitting in a room with feces all over the floor with chucks covering it. I was told the housekeeper had quit. She had bruises on her face, mostly her forehead. The only care she did receive was when a travelling hospice nurse would show up. One day she was in her room with no meal instead of in the dining room eating and the kitchen aides said that every time they feed her she poops all over. So I guess it was better to starve her? They weren't nice or compassionate. One aide, as I was about to voice my concern about the lack of care my sister was receiving and I said out loud to myself that it was best to just leave, she remarked that it was best that I just keep walking out the door. Very disrespectful. I would have pursued a legal matter with them, but I was more involved with taking care of the house and financial matters that my sister left behind and missed the deadline. My sister passed away after being there only two months. If she was to live longer I would have searched for another place.

Worst place ever, very high turn over. We took our mom out. Elevator is filthy and that kitchen in main dining area is super filthy as well. Don't waste your time this place went down when they changed ownership. RUN!!!
