Please don't place your loved one here. The decision itself is hard enough. I had to pull my wife out after 5 days after 6 incidents with 5 different family members witnessing not responding to call lights for 1 1/2 - 2 hours or when she fell and had to crawl into the hallway after crying for help. Or the other patients crying for help that doesn't come. Don't put your family or yourself through this.

My dad spent 5 wks in the short term rehab, the lack of care and absence of staff and resources was unimaginable!! I felt it more reasonable to rent the room, because we would be there for 3 hrs and NEVER see a staff person. When we did, and asked for help, they would say they had to get help and never come back. Call lights would be on all down the hall, and never get acknowledged, they were "silenced" , so if you didn't look up, you never knew they were on!!! The aides and ordelies try to help, but they have 20 pts apiece, and the nurse is busy at her medcart all day. They even had a sign on medcart, "medpass in progress, do not disturb"!!!! My dad never even saw a doctor the whole time.Do not take your family to this nightmare of a place, I can't believe the State Board doesn't shutter these doors.
