Wonderful staff, but very uncomfortable bed. To live in this place means your mind has to be far down the spectrum or dementia or Alzheimer’s. I would like to say that the staff and nurses are so wonderful.

My dad spent the last 2 months of his life at Arden Courts in Bath. And while my wish was for him to be at home, Arden Courts was the next best thing. We visited him daily and the facility was always clean, the residents were always being cared for in a kind, compassionate manner. We are grateful for the care my dad received and highly recommend Arden Courts. Their wonderful staff will not only take care of your loved one but will be kind and caring to you also.

Arden Courts does make a big difference. The care my mom receives is great. Each resident is different, each getting the care they need. They have thought of everything in the facility...the layout, with private bedrooms, a separate living room area, kitchen, dining room & a large activity room. The residents can roam inside & outside without worry.. everything is secured. The outside patio area is beautiful. The seating areas throughout the building are nicely decorated. It's not just the aides that keep an eye on the residents.. the nurses, housekeeping, and even maintenance knows those residents by name. It's definitely a "family home" environment. The communication between the facility & myself means alot. I had worked for a nursing home in the past, and a nursing home doesn't even compare. Some facilities might advertise "memory care", but are not really trained in behaviorial care. Just because they put a lock on the door, Does Not make them a memory care facility. (Mom lived at 4 other facilities before we found Arden Courts) Arden Courts is dedicated to memory care.. that's all they do! I wish I found them years ago. Take a tour & see the difference.

My mom has been at Arden Courts of Bath for 4 months. She was in another memory facility prior to Arden. The difference is clear! This facility was planned based on caring for those with memory issues, designed to feel as home-like as possible. The “front porches” are adorable! The dining experience with just each hallway (about 12 residents) is so much calmer and quieter (and better monitored) than in other facilities with large dining areas. The staff are compassionate and well trained for memory residents. The activities offered are appropriate and offered all day! Communication from staff has surpassed expectations.

I placed my father in Arden Courts for dementia that came on very quickly. They were very welcoming, informative and compassionate regarding our situation. They have provided excellent care for my father and I feel he is in a very safe environment which gives our family peace of mind. This has been one of the best decisions we have made!
