Abbington of Powell

My dad is 88 and has been living by himself for 10 years. Recently he started having mobility issues. I called around and only Abbington of Powell was giving me concrete answers. We went for a tour and we’re really impressed by their service. My dad moved in 10 days after his troubles started. He has been doing well. We are all very happy with everything Abbington is doing. Thank you Abbington. Update: After more than 3 happy years at Abbington, my dad passed away at 92. The staff at Abbington was so helpful with everything, my family and I would not have been going through this so smoothly without them. Thank you Abbington for EVERYTHING.

We moved mom to Abbington in May. She was naturally nervous but the staff there made her feel welcome. Now she absolutely loves it. She's made several new friends and is quite content in her little apartment. My husband and I had lunch there today and it was really good.

We are so happy that we found Abbington of Powell for my Mom. The atmosphere is very warm and homey and the staff and residents have been very welcoming. Mom’s studio style apartment was completely refreshed and ready to move her furniture in. Mom is very happy here and feels very safe and well cared for. Mom is looking forward to making more friends and enjoying the many activities offered here!

We are extremely happy with our decision for Mom at Abbington of Powell. Leann and her team are wonderful, compassionate, attentive and engaged. The continuity of caregivers enables Mom to get to know and trust her care providers, and she feels safe and well cared for and now participates much more than in previous AL. The facility is lovely, right sized and situated in a nice area. We highly recommend Abbington of Powell.
