There is a good reason this place has such a high rating. I know Yorkshire for many years and have been witness to the incredible care and compassion the entire team has for thier residents. Activities are engaging as can be with people with Dementia, the care staff are diligent and gentle and the management seems 100% dedicated to what they do. The overwhelming amount of positive reviews for Yorkshire is a testament to the quality assisted living that it is. If you are looking for a place for a family or friend I HIGHLY suggest you come check it out for yourself.

Great staff and wonderful place every time I’ve visited them!! From Teresa to Nicole, Marielle, Nani and really most of the people whom I’ve interacted with. They have always been the outmost attentive and respectful for the care of their residents and guests. Truly a good place for the elderly to be well looked after.

Came with a friend to visit her husband and as I was waiting in the lobby, a young caregiver was sitting with an elderly woman in a wheelchair. He left her unattended and she started standing up and almost fell. I was able to hold her and asked one of the caregivers to come help her. She said that someone should be there with her. I think these caregivers are too young to want to be there. They were all very young.

Response from the owner

Thank you for sharing your concerns. The safety and dignity of every resident are our highest priorities. While we cannot comment on any individual resident due to privacy laws, assisted living communities are designed to support residents while also respecting their independence. We are not permitted to use physical restraints, and residents who are able to do so are free to stand or move about. Continuous one-on-one supervision is a separate level of care that assisted living communities are generally not staffed to provide. We appreciate you bringing your concern to our attention and are always reviewing our practices to ensure residents receive safe, compassionate care.
