Woodbury Villa

this review is for the TCU (Transitional Care located in the lower level) I will start by saying, before my dad was admitted into the TCU here, I came here to read all of the reviews to make sure he was going to be well taken care of and in a good place. I was very discouraged and nervous by a few of the reviews- however, we were on a time crunch, and this is where he ended up going so we gave it a chance. The first Nurse/Aide duo we met were Jocie and Patty, and they were amazing! So kind, caring, professional and attentive. They immediately put ease to our minds, and we started to feel a little better about the place. After that we continued to meet the staff on other shifts/days and they too were awesome! Mariam, Christina, Alison are 3 more that stood out to us, eased our minds and were very willing to help or making sure we had what we needed. My dad also really enjoyed working with his therapies staff- Brooke and Morgan were great with him and he still talks about them now that he is back home! When my dad came into the TCU he was not able to walk or speak very well, and by the time he left, he was walking with a cane and speaking MUCH better. Thank you all so much for your kindness, your care and for putting our minds at ease and making sure not only my dad, but our family had what they needed and knew what was going on every step of the way. we also found the food to be very good, and you can buy tickets to eat with your loved one for as many meals as you want! One thing to remember is that this facility is much smaller and less staffed than a hospital, meaning you may have to wait a little longer to get to you when you hit your call button, in the 30+ days my dad was here, and I was there visiting just about every day- I can tell you there are no issues with the staff themselves, they are great at what they do, and they do their best. It is a staffing issue not controlled by them, so give them some grace. I can only speak on the TCU experience, and I would bring any of my loved ones here and would highly suggest them to you and your family.

The Nursing Home:Old dirty building in need of repair inside and out. Poor selection of food service. Short on staff some working double shifts. Would not recommend to anyone.

I recently visited Woodbury Senior Living and was extremely impressed. The community is beautiful, welcoming, and the staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. The community recently had a renovation and looks amazing! I would highly recommend Woodbury Senior Living.

I wanted to add to my previous review and give special recognition to two people who constantly go above and beyond…thank you to Christine and Tess. Christine is so caring and helpful. She always goes out of her way to accommodate the needs of the residents. Tess’s energy and hard work is so impressive. She is a ray of sunshine. Her activities are fun and awesome. Everybody is wonderful. Thank you to the incredible staff at Woodbury Estates

We are so happy and grateful we found the Woodbury Villas for our dad. The staff is kind and easy to communicate with and have embraced our dad like a family member. It is a relief to know that he is being well cared for when we are not around. There is always a calendar packed with activities and that makes it hard for Dad to get bored if he doesn’t want to! Also, a huge thanks to Christine. She’s been phenomenal. She made all the paperwork and move in easy, she’s knows every resident at the facility by name and is always there for a genuine hug for residents and family members. Her heart is huge and made of gold and you can tell she loves her job and the people there!
