White Sands is an exceptional community. The setting at the beach is spectacular and it is well maintained with many amenities. There is a broad range of activities and special events and it is an inclusive and stimulating environment with interesting residents and a very kind and accommodating staff.

It didn’t take long to realize that one of the best thing about moving into White Sands is the unexpected and instant friendships that are made. We never considered how many really interesting people we would soon connect with from age 62 years of age to 101!! Although we still drive, we are thrilled to have access in our White Sands Bus to offered events as far away as LA, Orange County, and the outlying areas. Especially appreciated is transportation to evening theater and musical performances downtown. We can walk on the beach or a block into the Village of La Jolla where there are plenty of restaurants, a movie theater, a beautiful new Concert Hall, a great book store, Von’s Market, CVS, a Sunday Outdoor Market, and clothing stores, etc. What more could we ask for!!
