Westminster Village - West Lafayette

My parents began their Westminster journey in assisted living, and then graduated to skilled nursing. We lost dad in January of 2021, but Mom still lives, sans Dad, in a beautiful room in Westminster's Health Center. Over the past several years, I've gotten to know the staff and residents at Westminster, and many of these people are like family to me. The staff are dedicated and professional, and clearly see their jobs as vocations. My mom attends dozens of fun activities each week planned by the staff, and she is eager to participate in just about every planned event. Mom also loves getting her hair done each week at the Westminster beauty parlor. They have special hair washing sinks for people who use wheelchairs. Mom also loves going to Mass before dinner on Saturday. Priests from St. Thomas church in West Lafayette provide this ministry. When I visit my mom each Sunday, we go outside and enjoy the beautiful flowers all around the Westminster campus. We especially like the dahlia garden!
