Westminster Village Health & Rehab

I’ve heard so many wonderful things about Westminster over the years, and I personally know several people who work there. Because of that, I went into today’s tour with high expectations. Unfortunately, I left feeling very disappointed. I scheduled a tour, but what we were given felt extremely half‑hearted. We weren’t shown a resident room, a dining room, or any of the main areas families usually want to see. We were walked down a hallway, shown a nurses’ station, and that was it. The marketing person didn’t seem interested in giving a full tour, and if I hadn’t run into a past coworker and stopped to catch up for a moment, I would’ve been in and out in under three minutes. With all the good things I’ve heard and with me personally knowing so many staff members who work hard and care deeply, I expected a much more welcoming and informative experience. Instead, the tour left me feeling let down and unsure of what the facility truly has to offer. I’m hoping this was just an off day, because I know Westminster has a strong reputation. But based on today’s visit, I didn’t get the chance to see the quality everyone talks about.

I am so happy to be here at Westminster Village in Terre Haute! There are so many activities and you can do as many or as few as you like. The people and team members are so friendly that they become part of your own family. We feel very safe and I could go on and on about how glad Jeff and I made the decision to come and make this our home.

This is a wonderful friendly place. They offer so many interesting programs and exercises and great food and staff services that make the stay so enjoyable.It is full of retired professionals who still enjoy making new friends and doing many things. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful retirement life.
