Excellent staff, Great facility. One of the best in the area.

Our family’s experience at this rehabilitation hospital was incredibly disappointing. My mother developed clear signs of delirium and a serious change in her condition, but I felt my repeated concerns were dismissed. When I asked to speak with the nurse, I was told, “I’m beyond stressed. It will have to wait,” and later, “I have two seconds to listen to you.” I ultimately called an ambulance myself because I no longer felt my mother was receiving the care she needed. She was transferred back to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with a worsening infection requiring IV antibiotics and fluids. This facility appeared to be severely understaffed. While I understand healthcare workers are under immense pressure, this is a for-profit rehabilitation hospital, and patients deserve adequate staffing and timely attention. No family should have to fight to have a loved one’s medical concerns taken seriously. I do want to recognize Deandrea, who was compassionate, attentive, and genuinely cared about my mother. She was a bright spot in an otherwise very difficult experience. I hope this facility addresses its staffing and communication issues so other families don’t have to go through what ours did.

Wellbrooke is a great facility, the care & staff are excellent! All the staff here are very caring & kind. I enjoy the residence & staff. Plenty of activities for residents!

Wellbrooke of Carmel is a wonderful community with a caring and compassionate team. Nikki Kays and the staff go above and beyond to create meaningful experiences for their residents. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a community where residents are treated with care.

The Director of Assisted Living, Angela, has been fantastic. She has been a genuine partner in the care of my mother in law who is not an easy case. Can’t say enough positive about the assistance, support and encouragement she has provided.
