Vineyard Park of Puyallup

After caring for my dear mom in our home for five years, my husband and I realized that she needed a more engaging environment that would support her independence. When we took mom to visit a friend who moved to Vineyard Park, we were impressed by the cleanliness of the buildings and the pleasant professionalism of the staff. Mom’s first month at Vineyard Park has been a great success! She has developed a nice routine and gotten acquainted with her new neighbors. My husband and I visit several times each week. Now, we are able to just sit and talk with mom since Vineyard Park is caring for meals, medication, and housework. I feel more like a daughter again, and less like a caregiver.

My mom was at Vineyard Park for almost 3 years. And she was happy. We found the med techs were great and really cared about mom. The people that live there are happy. They are happy because Crystal, the Life Enrichment Director, cares. Really cares. She has them busy doing things and always learning. She’s passionate about what she does and it shows. For example, on National French Fry Day a couple weeks ago, she went to 5 fast food places to get French fries for them to taste test. She is truly the reason the residents are happy. I also really liked that they have a doctor that comes in so you don’t have to go elsewhere to the doctor. They also have an optometrist, audiologist and podiatrist that come on site. Plus, Tuesdays a gal comes and does hair. Everything you need is onsite.

Everyone is so friendly here! My daughter volunteers here regularly and it’s so wonderful to see the residents and notice how happy they seem. All the staff, especially Crystal Doepke, is so gracious and kind. We love it here - one of our favorite homes in the region!

I went to visit my son's mother in law. I was quite pleased with everything that her memory care entails. The place is well kept.The staff were very professional, friendly, kind, & very helpful to me. I think my friend is in a very caring place. Thank you for your service staff members.
