Love the staff, they are very caring and loving, they go above and beyond for every resident there. I love how they treat the residents like family. From the staff to the manager they are an amazing team. Every time you step into Village Green you can feel the warmth and love of a home. The care and love the staff provides is top tier. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I had my mother in VG for 2 years. I have watched as the manager and most of the employees have ran that place into the ground. 6 falls in 5 months! The lack of communication and care for the job put every patient there at risk every day. The food is sub par. Mostly overcooked or just gross. The attention to the patients throughout the day is terrible. The patients are all put in living room and sat on the filthy furniture. I think they replaced it this week. The girls then either leave the room all together or sit and play on the phones. There is some good there but, Not enough to outweigh the bad. I moved my mother after watching her for 35 minutes climb out of bed and hit the floor times after getting up by herself because she had to go to the bathroom. A basic human need. She was continuously denied. Needless to say, I am grateful to have been able to move my mother!!!

We are genuinely sorry that your experience ended the way it did. Watching someone you love go through dementia is incredibly difficult, and we know how emotional and heartbreaking that journey can be. Nothing is more important to us than the safety and well-being of our residents. It is never our intention for a resident to experience a fall, and every incident is taken seriously. We spend a great deal of time reviewing what happened, looking at what additional interventions may help, and working with families to determine the best path forward. We are also incredibly grateful for our team. We are blessed to have caregivers and leaders who come to work each day because they genuinely love our residents and want the very best for them. They celebrate the good days, comfort families through the difficult ones, and care deeply about the people who call Village Green home. While no community is perfect and there is always room to learn and improve, we will always stand behind a team that leads with compassion and heart. While we recognize that we may see some things differently, we also respect your perspective and understand why you made the decision you felt was best for your mom. We wish we had the opportunity to see some of the plans we discussed together through, but we respect your decision and sincerely hope she continues to receive the love and care she deserves. We wish you and your family nothing but the very best moving forward, and will continue to always send love towards you and your sweet mother.

Charolette and her team over at Village Green Kingwood are amazing! They treat not only their visitors but their residents with the upmost respect. You can tell that everyone here truly loves what they do.
