Village Green Alzheimer's Care Home LLC

After almost two years of talking with the diector, mother's residence was less than 3 months. Mom was still recovering from shoulder surgery and was told she should not use or pull on the bad arm. Some caregivers continued. Near the end, when we began hospice/comfort care, she was to always have 2 people lift her. Mother's room would be left unlocked and other residents would enter her room from early morning to night.We kept requesting it be locked. It continued to be a problem. Then one evening, on camera, I witnessed mother being treated poorly, "man handled" and ignored, even as she screamed in pain. The caregiver was ultimately terminated and the community was told this was their last chance. By end of the next day, another resident entered her room alone, rifled through things at her dresser, with his pants down, showing his bare rear, before closing himself in her bathroom (see photo). Later that evening, she was once again lifted by one person, pulling her up by her bad arm. We promptly moved her. Sad thing is, I emailed all of the videos, to the corporate director, of the above mentioned and have heard nothing back. Yes, the facility is lovely and clean and there are a few amazing caregivers, but that is where it ended. For the price charged, I would never recommend this community. My best to anyone who experiences the stress of placing an aged parent into care.

I love staff at the community, so many events, family nights. it warms my heart to see how many families that come out to these events and be involved with their loved ones. Family events and family board game nights are super fun! My grandmother has been here 3 yrs. We knew we made the right choice with Village Green. Thank you for taking great care of my Gran:)

We are so thrilled to have come to visit Village Green for Memory Care services for my sweet Papa who is suffering from dementia.. Cindy is an extraordinary woman who made me and my husband feel at total ease during the transitional phase for dad from Skilled Nursing to Memory Care. Her communication was direct and comforting and she has always been easy to reach! Thank you Cindy and Village Green for loving on dad and us! :) ♥️ thank you for giving us a loving home for Dad to be in his final days as I type this message. I'm crying right now thinking of the loving hands and compassionate hearts that surrounded him and us.

Very nice and sweet staff.On top of that Its very comfortable and homey feeling. Went there around lunch time and it smelled like sweet home cooking.

This is more than just an ALF. It feels like home upon entry. The staff , Cindy ( Director) , Tiffany, Sandy , Ta welcome you immediately. They thoroughly engage with the residents and I can see how attached the staff are to the residents.
