Via Elegante, Sierra Vista Canyons

In my opinion Via Elegante is the best senior care facility in the Sierra Vista area. My mom was a resident there for almost two years. The entire staff is top notch. They were so caring and compassionate and became like family to my mom. I live on the east coast and was able to rest easy knowing my mom was in good hands. Mom eagerly waited for and participated in daily activities provided by the activity director. On Halloween last year mom handed out candy with the staff to local children and had the best time. She spoke about it for months. When mom was running out of money to continue paying her rent the director worked with us guiding us to get mom on ALTCS and made the transition seamless. The facility is clean and pleasant with a great sunny courtyard for the residents to enjoy and get outside. Mom made many friends there including other residents and the staff. Sadly, after a short hospital stay, mom passed away peacefully a couple of weeks ago back home at Via Elegante. I was comforted as I’m sure she was, that she was home. I learned after her funeral that one of mom’s aids sat by her side during the night that she passed away. I can’t tell you how much that meant to me knowing she wasn’t alone. I don’t want to name names because I don’t want to forget anyone but from the bottom of my heart I want to thank the entire staff of Via Elegante for the care and attention you gave to my mom. Wonderful staff, very caring, and many activities for the residents and their families Love them all! My mom has been at Via for just about a year, and I am so thankful for them in helping keep my mom healthy, happy and safe!
