My mom spent the last nine months of her life here. It is a small environment that was much calmer and warmer than more institutional settings. Staff was warm and went the extra mile for my mom even when she was having a hard time. We also appreciated how flexible they were when it came to her end of life care and she was able to be there through her death instead of spending her last days in a cold nursing home. We loved the home like setting and the location is great with deer coming on to the grounds regularly. Highly recommend Turnberry!

I recently had the chance to tour Turnberry and was really impressed by how warm and welcoming it felt from the moment I walked in. The home felt peaceful, comfortable, and clearly designed with residents in mind. What stood out most was how genuinely kind the staff were and how much effort goes into creating a positive atmosphere for both residents and their families. You can really feel the sense of care and community there.A special thank you to Rachel for her dedication and for making me feel so welcome. Her warmth and genuine care really stood out and made the visit even more memorable.

I have had the honor of playing music at Turnberry a number of times. The residents who live there are so sweet and inviting. Each time I return, they tell me more interesting stories about their lives and I feel like I get to know them on a more personal level. The level of care that the staff provides is clear by how they interact with the residents. The last time I played at Turnberry, Mindy gave me a much-needed cup of coffee, and it set my day just right.

Jakob, thank you so much for sharing this and bringing the joy of music to our home! Our residents love your visits, and it means so much that you’ve taken the time to get to know them and their stories. And yes, Mindy is wonderful at taking care of everyone who visits!

Rachael runs a top notch assisted living home in a beautiful house that backs to the country club golf course in Fort Collins- called Turnberry Place (a home for life). The home is well kept and clean, & the meals are prepped right in the home by the staff. The staff even bakes goodies on occasion and tries to provide a nice variety of meals. The residents are very well cared for and loved- (including my mom until she passed in May). The place never smelled like a nursing home or looked like one (except for maybe a few walkers!) All of the residents were always clean and groomed with clean clothes on any time I ever came to visit my mom each week. They had regular weekly activities such as music and exercise, and Rachael planned many outings and celebrations, birthdays, and special holiday events, where the residents’ families were welcome & encouraged to join, and when they all came -it was like one big happy family gathering! It was fun. I love the staff, and they, and Rachael, became like family to me. They helped me navigate taking care of my mom right up to the end- even when it got tough with my mom’s difficulty with mobility and some dementia. I was grateful that I didn’t have to go it alone. Rachael even offered to have a little celebration of life for my mom on what would have been her 91st birthday, which was a God-send to me, as I had no family living in state to have one with. A couple of my friends who attended asked if they could put their names on a waiting list to be able to come live at Turnberry Place when they got old enough to need assisted living! Rachael truly sets the bar for what caring for the elderly should look like in this country! I can’t say enough good things about Turnberry Place, Rachael, and the staff! God bless each of you!

Your words touched our hearts more than you know. Caring for your mom was truly a blessing, and she will always hold a special place in our Turnberry family. We are so grateful you allowed us to walk this journey with you, through the joy, the challenges, and the tender moments at the end. Knowing that you felt supported, loved, and surrounded by family here means everything to us. Thank you for letting us honor her life and for reminding us why we do what we do each day.

My mom came to live with me several years back and when I knew the time was there that she needed to supervised more then I could a opening at Turnberry came up and I was familiar with the place and was so excited at the possibility of my mom getting a spot there ! Long story short she did get in and I’ve never been happier as it’s a hard thing to need to do this but when it’s perfect it’s so much easier, the important part is she’s happy too! The owner is fun and always available to you and does her best with people coming in to entertain, herself celebrating holidays and decorating. The staff is amazing and you’ll get to know each of them. This is a beautiful home in a country club setting, it’s a very quiet setting and the home is well appointed and very comfortable, I love that there is just a handful of residents in a family setting, you need to put this Turnberry at the top of your list!
