Touchmark on West Century

My band, Braveheart, has had the privilege of performing at Touchmark for many years. It has become for me, one of the highlights of each year. The cheerfulness of the residents and the warm reception we receive from them and the staff is the reason. It is quite obvious to our band members that their annual car show event is something the residents relish and look forward to each Summer. We love the comments we receive from the residents and staff as we pack up after each gig. It is very obvious to us that we leave the residents in the hands of folks who truly care for their wellbeing.

I can’t say enough good things about the care my mother-in-law receives at Touchmark in Bismarck. The Pembrook neighborhood has an incredible staff that truly treats her like family. The recent remodel has created a beautiful, calming environment that genuinely feels like home. Before moving to Touchmark, she struggled in another retirement community. Her medications were not being managed as effectively as they could have been, and she often experienced anxiety and confusion. As her family, it was heartbreaking to watch her lose the sense of peace and comfort she deserved. Since coming to Touchmark, the difference has been remarkable. The attentive staff and thoughtful care have helped her regain a sense of security and happiness. Every time we bring her back after going out for dinner or family events, she smiles and says, “I’m so glad to be home!” That says everything. Knowing she is receiving such compassionate, attentive care has lifted a burden our family didn’t fully realize we were carrying. She is almost always surrounded by friends in the living area, whether she’s watching TV, playing games, listening to music, or participating in one of the many activities. Most importantly, we get to see her laugh, smile, and enjoy life again. We are deeply grateful to everyone at Touchmark for treating her with such kindness, dignity, and respect. They haven’t just given her a wonderful place to live—they’ve given our entire family peace of mind.

I visited my mom for the second time since she moved in last November and was able to share a number of meals with her in the dining room. What struck me this time was how caring the servers in the dining room are to their residents. It was so nice to watch as they waited on various tables, it was like a restaurant where the residents were their frequent customers. The selection and quality of food over four meals was really nice to experience. Thanks Touchmark!

Wendy was absolutely incredible to work with. She greeted us with a smile at the front door and every interaction that followed was the same way. She made sure my mom found the perfect unit and she made sure the transition went smoothly for us. She followed up and was very accommodating. She is a great asset to the team!

My grandparents recently moved to the community- and they reserved the large dining room to have our whole family join for dinner last night. We had a wonderful time. The food was great, and the staff were welcoming and thoughtful! It is very clear that the community at Touchmark is the best of the best!
