My father has lived at the Chase Court home for about 2 months now and here is the note that I just sent to Erika and Casey (owners of ThriveCare): Hi Erika and Casey, I just had lunch with my dad and I wanted to share with you that he told me he is very happy with his new house, housemates and caregivers! This made be very happy of course, and I can tell that he has adjusted and is very comfortable there and is very fond of everyone. I also have to say that I’m very impressed with El and Tearsa and the rest of the caregivers as well as the music and other entertainment, such as Ledy. Anyway, I wanted to send a note and tell you how happy he is, and we are. He loves all the music! Thank you!

When I needed to find a place for my mom whose mobility was decreasing, I tapped into my experience as a Geriatric Rehab Occupational Therapist. I wanted to explore options beyond an assisted living or nursing home. The ThriveCare model offered 3 major benefits for my mom. It allowed her to stay there as her final home even as her health declined, there were 2 responsive daytime caregivers for 8 residents and the house was friendly facilitated by vibrant volunteers and engaging activities that bolstered purpose and mental health. The owners, Casey and Erika, have cultivated a community of compassion and dignity and are responsive to the individual needs of each resident. ThriveCare exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend them.

ThriveCare Yarrow Street provided exceptional care for our mom and incredible support for our whole family. The staff is compassionate, attentive, and truly goes above and beyond. The celebration of life they helped organize was beautiful and deeply meaningful. We are so grateful.

We chose Thrive Care for our mom based on recommendations and our own research and could not possibly have done better for mom. From the first day she was treated with respect and kindness by what was clearly a quality and well trained staff. Any questions we had were handled promptly and effectively.

My dad was a resident of Thrive Care-Chase House for just over two weeks last November before he died. We moved him from another facility and were so very happy to have him there. It is a home, not just a place to live. Although my dad had very advanced dementia, he felt this too on his first day there. Upon our arrival, the staff helped him into an easy chair, gave him a drink of water and covered him with a blanket. He said, “This feels like home.” As my dad’s death approached, the staff quietly and gently cared for him. We were able to be with him continuously in those last days of his life. After my dad passed away, the caregivers were right there with us in our sadness, giving us hugs and praying with us. The staff at Thrive Care are caring, patient and ensure that the residents are treated with love. My dad had very little appetite in his time there, but the caregivers took the time to make sure he was satisfied. They kept him engaged with activities as much as he could and treated him with dignity always. I highly recommend Thrive Care. The caring staff and owner Erika Leno with her nursing expertise, provided us a level of security that was lacking at my dad’s prior facility. There is also smooth coordination with outside care like the hospice nurses and pharmacy. The Thrive Care app, allowing us to communicate directly with staff, was such a blessing. I am so thankful that we were able to have my dad there, even for a short time.
