The Trace Senior Community

The care our loved one received here was fine, however something very shady was going on with his medications and we are unsure who was responsible, the facility, the hospice company, or the nursing care and all three are refusing to provide clarity or take responsibility. All his medications should have been ordered through hospice and their pharmacy, however, someone was ordering through another pharmacy and no one would take responsibility for ordering it or the $1400 it cost us, the three companies just all pointed fingers at each other, and there doesn’t seem to be anything we can do about it. Interestingly enough, they were commonly abused medications, so it really raises eyebrows. Update: days within posting this review I was contacted and finally told it would be handled. After a few more bills arriving in the mail they ceased and we never heard another thing about it. We never did receive a refund for the medications we did pay for. I gave them a second star for resolving the situation.

10/10 Wonderful! I have a had such a good experience with The Retreat. Absolutely awesome group of people from Leadership to the staff. I had many meetings with them before a decision was made and they have exceeded my expectations. My parent is happy and thriving here in a place with many options for daily living and super nice residents. I am so thankful for the team here at The Retreat. I cannot recommend them enough.

The staff were great especially Angela she answered all my questions in a respectful and she took her time . I didn't feel rushed .
