Great experience here visiting my family member John . He loved living there because of all the cool activities they would do each day . The life enrichment team makes getting older easier by having fun ! Ivy was the best by far in that department . Iām happy to see the changes that were made and getting in new fresh faces to lead them . I would highly recommend The Peaks for your loved ones . They really do care . Have a blessed day š

If I could give a "0" I would. My father-in-law had a stroke. The hospital said he needed two weeks of OT, PT and Speech after their physical therapist evaluated him. He has been at the Peaks for 3 days and the "case manager" said he is being discharged tomorrow. She did not help find him a new residence or offer any suggestions, she was rude, spoke over me several times while I was in mid sentence, was demenading he leave and had 0% care in her tone of voice or actions. I've never spoken to someone who is supposed to be a case manager before who literally "threw someone out of rehab" without appropriately making sure they have placement to go to. If you value your family do not send them here. I'm speechless with regard to this circumstance. This is truly unprofessional. She treated me and my father in law as if it was not important that he has placement to go to and that it was not her problem. Maybe I am mistaken regarding what a case manager is supposed to do but I thought their job was to find placement.

IF I COULD GIVE 1000 NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!!! This is the ABSOLUTELY WORSE facility for patients who need rehabilitation I have ever seen. My dad left the hospital on a Thursday. We went 3 times (2hr drive 1 way) ourselves (Mom and I ) and had other family members there on the days we couldn't be. He was NEVER showered, never was able or helped to brush his teeth. When they brought his meals, they didnt even push the tray up so he could get to it. Him and the patient in the same room would push the help button and it would take at a minimum of 30 to an hour for them to respond when he needed to use the bathroom. He had fallen before hospital stay (for both lung pulmonary embolisms) and had a big 6x4" raw skin peeled back. And they had not checked it, or changed the bandage. Their reasoning, IT WASNT ON THE MEDICAL REPORT FROM HOSPITAL) SERIOUSLY. Like they couldn't see a huge bandage and ask him. He was dirty and smelled awful. The rehab was 30min on a hand/foot bike. That's it. If you have a family member who needs rehab. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!!! He has parkinson, so needed help with every day things. They didnt help do anything. I have never been so angry or see my Dad cry. He said he just wanted to die and wouldn't even eat anymore. And they threw a fit when we went and got him. Said it was against medical orders. AWFUL PLACE AND UNCARING PEOPLE IN THAT GOD FORSAKEN PLACE!!!
