The Meridian at Stone Creek

I just was doing a different review and saw this one. I must say that my rating/review/view of Meridian at Stone Creek has shifted 180º. They are constantly going through turn-over. There was a time a hostess came by our table and just broke down crying because of staffing issues, etc. My mom was in transitional care, and when visiting I would stop by her room before going down to Memory Care. The door was constantly unlocked, even after bringing it to everybody's attention (INCLUDING the Exec. Dir). I've been in the MC unit when the staff is all in the nurses office, and patients are getting in verbal (even physical at one time) arguments. They are constantly coming up with reasons to raise the cost, even though they don't even do what is on the plan. "Oh we will once you pay the new rate, that's why we're charging it." still never do it. Had to replace a bed because it was soiled numerous times. You know the stories go on... I would not even send my pet here, let alone a human I care about! I moved my mom to Bonaventure in Puyallup. Samantha was awesome. We would never have known she was new if she hadn't mentioned it. She made everything easy and was great to work with. Her outgoing personality and understanding made a difficult situation a lot less stressful and easy to navigate. The Meridian really set my mind at ease and made my decision easy to trust my mom's wellbeing in your hands. Thank you!!!

The staff at this facility has been absolutely wonderful throughout the pandemic. From the front desk staff to Med Techs to kitchen staff to cleaning staff, to activities staff who would stop in to say hello and bring art supplies, to maintenance staff, all went out of their way to deliver packages, meals, and groceries to each apartment. Maintenance helped my mom whenever she hit a wrong button on her tv remote and the tv would go blank, Clothes were washed and delivered, they worked hard. Cleaning staff were supportive, and were hard st work. Physical Therapy staff went out of their way to help, even on days when mom wasn’t being treated, just to give a hello and smile. They really worked their tails off! The director is wonderful, and so supportive, and all staff are so loving and supportive to my mom. I have felt very happy to have my mom here. For a short time my mom needed help with the med techs and they worked very hard, kept me in the loop, and were very loving. This was a difficult year for most residents, but I was very happy to know Mom was being taken care of. Thank-you to all!

The Meridian at Stone Creek is such a beautiful retirement community!!! We wanted to get my mom in there for assisted living but she needed more care than they could give her at the time! The staff was amazing! Especially Michael Vest! What an awesome job he did for us! I highly recommend this place! And thank you so much again Michael!!!

This is such a beautiful community and the new executive director is amazing! The nursing staff continues to strive to obtain the highest level of care possible!! The memory care staff loves the residents like they are their own if I needed assistance this is the place I would want to live!!

Stunning location inside and out. Not only is the staff phenomenal, but the home is inviting as well.
