I’ve seen patients at this location for over a year now. They have the most attentive staff of any of my facilities. The residents here are very happy and seem to be engaged regularly. One thing I’d like to highlight is the beautiful outdoor spaces that are clearly utilized and loved. They even have “Cafe y Chisme,” under the gazebo daily. I’d highly recommend Grand Brook

Norwin Hussain, the Director of Celebrations, is outstanding! Her activities are creative, well-planned, and truly engaging for the residents. She has a special way of connecting with everyone and creating moments of joy, laughter, and purpose. The residents genuinely look forward to her programs, and the positive impact she has on the community is obvious. Norwin brings so much heart and energy to everything she does!

The Haven and The Laurels in Stone Oak is an exceptional community that truly goes above and beyond. The care and compassion shown by the staff is outstanding, and the fun, engaging activities bring so much joy and meaning to the residents’ days. A special thank you to Adrianna, the Memory Care Director, for her dedication, warmth, and leadership. She genuinely cares and it shows in the quality of care provided. Dodie, the Administrator, is also amazing — she is always involved, listens attentively, and takes action when concerns or suggestions are brought to her attention. It’s reassuring to know that leadership is present, responsive, and committed to making positive changes. Highly recommend The Haven and The Laurels in Stone Oak for their excellent care, strong leadership, and wonderful environment.

After several months of searching for just the right facility, my husband & I moved to The Laurels on March 14, 2025. From our very first visit, we could tell that the staff was very caring and knowledgeable! The beautiful facility is clean and attractive, the dining room offers an extensive tasty menu and the housekeeping and laundry service are outstanding. The medical staff is very caring and kind - they are extremely careful with our medications and medical needs. My husband has several sessions a week with FOX Rehab which is helping him to stay strong and ambulatory. We stay busy with the many activities offered throughout the day. Our children say that we have given them a wonderful gift because they know we are safe and happy. We highly recommend The Laurels!!!

This place is truly God sent. The Haven took care of my Mother with the best care possible. I thank God for the current & former staff and Mr. Ken for loving and taking care of her. At first, I was very sad about admitting her in a memory care facility after trying to be one of her caregivers by myself. This facility is just as lively and fun as my Mom! They celebrate everything & the decor is themed all the time! I feel at peace knowing my husband and I left every visit with a smile on our faces knowing she was in good care. Their food was good too, I used to eat off Mommy's plate and she would slap my hand lol! The residents became family to me. My Mom was truly the life of the party. My Mother Lena was a proud resident and passed away 8/6/23. I will forever be grateful of this place. I also hope to volunteer for The Haven one day & spread my holiday dress up cheer like I used to. Thank you for everything. I still ride pass the facility, wave & blow a kiss with many last memories of Mommy.
