My 91-year-old mom has lived in the independent section of Freedom Village for 10 years and has absolutely loved it. The entire building has a kind, happy, sophisticated warmth to it. Because she has had such a great experience in independent living, when it recently came to the point that she needed a little more daily help, she chose to move to Point Iroquois (assisted living). Kerri Hield and many others helped us walk through the process of moving apartments. She, and everyone who helped us, were amazing. They were organized, thoughtful, knowledgeable, responsive, kind, and always helped with smiles on their faces. Everyone went out of their way to make the move as easy on my mom and us as possible. My mom is now happily settled in her new, beautiful one bedroom apartment. The staff in Point Iroquois has exceeded my expectations (which were high.) They are taking great care of her. My mom already feels like she is part of the community there, as they have created a warm, homey, positive, and caring environment. She is receiving all the help she needs -- always delivered by someone with a smile on their face. We are grateful for Freedom Village.

I hurt my back while on vacation and was able to get into Freedom Village for rehabilitation after a hospital stay. They are fantastic. The physical therapists and occupational therapists are top-notch. The nurses, CNAs and other help staff were very kind and attentive. The food was delicious and they even offer an alternate menu in case The two or three choices offered aren't your favorite. They must have a high standard for their help staff because there was not one who was crabby or non-supportive. I highly recommend Freedom Village for rehabilitation.

Father has been in independent living since 2011, very pleased with the experience. Mid Feburary he was hospitalize with flu and was sent to Mission Point (skilled nursing) for rehab. Not the best experience. March 14 he was moved to Copper Harbor (assisted living). This has been awesome. Very helpful staff, making sure he is up and dressed everyday. Therapy is available and he gets to the dining room for meals. Great experience.
